DisplayPort

DisplayPortは、低コストでの実装とビデオ性能の向上を目的に設計された、コンピュータ、モニタ、ホーム・シアター・システム用の新しいデジタル・ディスプレイ・インタフェースです。シグナリングは互換ではありませんが、DisplayPortはDVI/HDMI信号のパススルーに対応しています。

DisplayPortはオーディオおよびクロック信号を1.62/2.7 Gb/sの伝送レートで搬送するメイン・リンク(1～4のデータ・ペア)をサポートしています。双方向の補助チャネルは1 Mb/sで動作し、メイン・リンクの管理やデバイスの制御として機能します。このため、デザイン段階では広帯域の測定ツールと高品質プロービングでDisplayPortデザインを評価する必要があります。
