IVI-COM and IVI-C Drivers
The IVI Shared Components is required by all IVI-COM and IVI-C drivers. The IVI Shared Components is automatically installed by the Agilent IO Libraries Suite, and the IVI driver installer will let you know if you need to install or update the IVI Shared Components on your system. If needed, they can be downloaded from www.ivifoundation.org
Agilent supports only the current and immediately preceding version of drivers, unless otherwise stated.
Older drivers are provided to allow you to recreate existing systems, but are not recommended for new development. Agilent IVI-COM drivers released before June 2004 may require the Agilent IVI-COM Components in addition to the latest IVI Shared Components from the IVI Foundation. See the driver Read Me file to determine if you need the Agilent IVI-COM Components. The Agilent IVI-COM Components can be downloaded from Agilent IVI-COM Components
If you are going to use Agilent IVI drivers on Windows Vista, but you are not installing the Agilent IO Libraries Suite (i.e. you are using the NI I/O Libraries instead), you need to download the Agilent IVI Driver Patch for Vista
