Why doesn't Windows® detect new hardware when I plug the E5813A USB Hub into the computer?
Windows® does not detect new hardware when you plug the E5813A USB Hub into the computer because the E5813A PC driver may not be installed properly. Check that your E5813A PC driver is installed properly or download and install the driver again from E5813A Networked 5-port USB Hub PC Driver
The E5813A configuration utility should show "Connected to This Computer" and it should also appear in the device manager.
