Component characterization in Microsoft Excel using Agilent programmable power supplies

FET curves in Excel

These Microsoft ® Excel programming examples create a family of FET curves using Agilent programmable power supplies or two single output programmable power supplies.

The example code has been tested with the N6700 MPS, E3631A triple output power supply and the E3632A, E3633A, and E3634A single output power supplies. It uses Visual Basic for Applications in Excel to step the power supply through a set of voltages and then inserts and plots the data on a worksheet. The code may be adapted to other power supplies and devices.

The example code uses VISA COM available with the Agilent IO libraries E2094M or later. You must have version M or later to use VISA-COM with GPIB, USB, or RS232 in Excel.

N6700 Application for Characterizing Components 
Microsoft (R) Excel code example application for use with the Agilent N6700 Low Profile Modular Power System. This program is the most complex of these programs and provides for user selections of most parameters, and for thermal characterization. This can be used with any of the N6700 mainframes and the N675xA with Option 054 and N676xA modules.
