Is there a connector repair kit available for the 3.5 mm-female precision slotless connector (PSC)?

Yes. The part number for the repair kit is 85052-60049.

Originally the 85052B special option K11 was the kit specified for repair of the 3.5 mm PSC female connectors. The 85052-60049 has replaced the 85052B K11.

The manual, "Repair Manual, 3.5 mm and Type-N Slotless Contact", details the repair of both 3.5 mm and type-N PSC connectors. The manual part number is 85052-90070 and is available in Downloads and Documents.

Per the manual: "Use the 3.5 mm slotless contact repair kit to repair the female contacts on all 3.5 mm precision slotless connectors (PSC). The only exception to this is the precision slotless contacts in the airlines of the 85052C 3.5 mm precision calibration kit. If damaged, these contacts must be repaired at the factory."

The kit will work on the PSC 3.5 mm female connectors on the following NMD-type test port cable assemblies:

• 85134E (single flexible cable 2.4 mm NMD to 3.5 mm-female PSC)
• 85134F (flexible cable pair, including one 2.4 mm NMD to 3.5 mm-female PSC)
• 85131E (single flexible cable 3.5 mm NMD to 3.5 mm-female PSC)
• 85131F (flexible cable pair, including one 3.5 mm NMD to 3.5 mm-female PSC)

However, cables with extensive damage must be returned to an Agilent repair center for evaluation and possible repair on a case-by-case basis.
