Why does the Bluetooth® ACP measurement take 15 minutes to complete?
The ACP measurement takes 15 minutes because of the requirements of the Bluetooth-test specification. Older spectrum analyzers required more than 1 hour completing this test. Based on the upward Bluetooth’s test spec, for each frequency point, the sweep time = 100ms, resulting in a sweep time of about 13 minutes. (100ms*79MHz/100kHz*10 = 790 second = 13.166667 minutes). Additional time is required for processing and displaying the results, bringing the total measurement time to 15 minutes.
