How do I connect my LogicWave using the USB port rather than the parallel port?

The USB port was originally designed into the LogicWave's hardware for "future use", but the port has never been implemented in the software. For several reasons, Agilent has changed its original plan to enable the USB port. Since the port will never be usable, LogicWave users must continue connecting via the parallel port.
