Experience the N6700 through a series of video demos and application briefs

The Agilent N6700 Low-Profile Modular Power System simplifies test-system assembly, programming, debugging and operation. It's flexibility, small size, and fast command processing time make it ideal for ATE and production test environments.
Product Overview Video
This video provides a 5-minute overview to the N6700 Low-Profile Modular Power System. It explains basic features and capabilities of the N6700. The video also describes each of the module types.
Application Videos
Each application video is a 1 to 2 minute summary of how the N6700 can be used to address an application need. Note that each application video has the same brief introduction.
- Application Video #1 -
When testing PC motherboards, it is important to apply the various supply voltages in the right sequence in order to assure proper boot-up of the CPU. The N6700 simplifies this task by automatically handling the sequence timing. - Application Video #2 -
A DC/DC converter is being tested for proper operation while being powered up with various input voltage ramps. The N6700 can be programmed to generate fast voltage ramps of varying slew rates. - Application Video #3 -
When burning-in hybrid ICs, many ICs will need to be exercised in parallel. As a multiple output power supply, the N6700's outputs can be programmed to cycle through the burn-in voltage sequence on many ICs at the same time. - Application Video #4 -
A wireless LAN PCI card is undergoing margin testing for proper operation at various combinations of its backplane supply voltages. Each output of the N6700 can be assigned to provide 5V, +12V, and -12V. Then, the N6700 outputs can be synchronized to quickly step through the required voltage combinations. - Application Video #5 -
A digital camera is measured while taking a picture to determine current transients that are drawn from its battery. The N6700 provides the power, makes the dynamic current measurements, and stores the current measurements in its oscilloscope-like measurement buffer.
