Can my 33210A be retrofit with Option 33210A-002 8K Point Arbitrary Waveform?

Option 33210A-002 8K Point Arbitrary Waveform Generator may be fitted into the Agilent 33210A at any time. The option provides five built-in arbitrary waveforms, and four user-defined waveforms stored in non-volatile memory in addition to one in volatile memory. Each user-defined waveform can contain between 1 and 8K (8192) data points.

The retrofit kit can be ordered as 33210U option 002. A certificate of entitlement and instructions to obtain a license key is provided.

Installing the option requires the certificate number and order number (provided on the certificate of entitlement) and the serial number of the 33210A to be upgraded. After purchasing 33210U option 002, use the link below to license and follow the on-screen instructions. A license key will be emailed.

To install the option, press the Utility key on the front panel of the 33210A. Select the “System” menu, then “Arb Option”. Enter the key provided and select “Enable Arb.” The arbitrary waveform option will be available after power is cycled to the instrument.
