A multi-axis positioner allows Over-the- Air (OTA) 3-dimensional antenna measurement of mobile devices by controlling both the azimuth and polarization of the device. It includes a low reflective insulator to minimize the RF interference from the transmit antenna and allows the simple installation of a hand phantom to simulate the effect of holding the device. Eretec’s WaveScan antenna test software supports the measurement of radiated power, receiver performance, passive gain & active sensitivity and provides analysis of multi-frequency and multi-radiated pattern characteristics.

When integrated with Agilent test equipment and an anechoic chamber the positioner and measurement software provides a comprehensive and affordable solution for testing the antennas of mobile devices. By combining the measurement performance of Agilent’s instrumentation with Eretec’s software and hardware you can test the antennas of your mobile devices at lower cost without compromising accuracy.
