Do the Agilent IO Libraries need to be installed if I am going to use an instrument driver (such as VXIplug&play or IVI-COM)?

IO Libraries Revisions: All

Yes. To use the VXIplug&play drivers you need to have VISA installed. To use the IVI-COM drivers you need to have VISA COM installed.
