How do I remotely transfer screen images from my E4406A VSA Series Analyzer using Visual Basic 6?

Description:
The example program, screen_e4406a.bas, is written for the E4406A VSA Series Analyzer. It transfers the current screen image on the analyzer over GPIB or LAN and stores the image on your PC in the current directory as screen.gif.

screen_e4406a.exe in the compiled executable of screen_e4406a.bas.

You can try it out by connecting up an E4406A VSA Series Analyzer to GPIB
address 18 and running the program. It will store the current screen image as
screen.gif in the directory you run the executable from.

Download Instructions:
Save the self extracting file to disk. Extract the files and place them in your current Visual Basic® 6 working directory.

Procedure:
Set the GPIB address of the instrument to address 18. Connect the GPIB cable and execute program. The screen image will be saved to a file named screen.gif in your working directory.
