Important Notice to Users of Earlier WireScope Pro Software Versions:
SITE names MUST NOT exceed 17 characters in length.
ScopeData Pro II Installation Instructions:
- Download and save the applicable installation file to your preferred folder.
- Execute the installation file.
- Before installing the new version, you must remove the previous version of ScopeData Pro.
- Restart the installer to install version 3.0.53 of ScopeData Pro II.
- As all test results stored in the WireScope Pro will be deleted, please backup all test results before performing any instrument software upgrade.
WireScope Pro Software Installation Instructions:
IMPORTANT: users of versions earlier than 2.4.3 please follow the instructions given in the
WireScope Pro Upgrade Quick Reference Guide using ScopeData Pro II and a USB FlashDrive
All users of version 2.4.3 please perform the following upgrade instructions:
- Backup all test results.
- Without formatting the internal memory of the WireScope Pro, upgrade the software to 3.0.53.
- Format the internal memory of the WireScope Pro.
- Re-install software version 3.0.53.
- Perform a User Calibration between WireScope Pro and DualRemote Pro to upgrade the DualRemote Pro.
Important Notes and Special Instructions
Calibration for Alien Crosstalk and Ambient Noise Measurements:
WireScope Pro units with serial numbers lower than SG47250001 and DualRemote Pro units with serial numbers lower than SG47260001 require an initial calibration to accurately measure absolute RF receive power. Please contact your Agilent sales representative for more details. Please have your units’ serial numbers available. For tests other than the above-mentioned, there is no special calibration required.
Test Data Storage Handling Change:
WireScope Pro will no longer automatically remove the test results from the internal memory after merging the results into a USB Flash Drive. If you wish to remove the test results from the internal memory, please delete the sites manually using the Database menu on the instrument.
