The new N5181B/N5182B MXG exceeds the ESG’s performance in every category- power, ACPR, EVM, phase noise, bandwidth and memory depth- and offers a wider range of signal simulation with both real-time and arbitrary waveform generation capabilities. Extensive backward compatibility and broad Signal Studio software support enable drop-in replacement without rewriting code or integrating new drivers and allow you to continue to enjoy the benefits of high reliability and maintainability, with a 3-year calibration cycle.

Migrate from the first-generation N5181A/N5182A MXG

The new N5171B/N5172B EXG offers the value and performance of the first-generation MXG, along with significant enhancements to output power, ACPR, memory and bandwidth. The EXG also offers scaled up performance and functionality with options such as a real-time baseband generator, high output power, and a built-in multi-function generator. You can continue to use the existing Signal Studio applications in additional to new capabilities for real-time LTE and GNSS for receiver testing.
