Genesys IMS 2011 MTT User Workshop: RF/MW Engineering Through Design Automation

Microwave and RF Engineering Book and IMS 2011 Genesys Workshop CDGenesys IMS 2011 MTT User Workshop,
RF/MW Engineering Through Design Automation
Wed. June 8, 2011 - 11:30am - 1:30pm

Dear Genesys users, RF/MW engineers and educators,

Do join us for a lunch-and-learn workshop at IMS 2011 MTT in Baltimore, USA.
We will provide lunch while you learn and build your network with other Genesys users.
Attendees will receive a CD containing the Genesys software and sample workspaces

REGISTER HERE: http://agilent.distributech.ca/registration.asp?seminarid=387

Speaking at this workshop are the authors of a new book on Microwave and RF Engineering: Ali Behagi and Stephen Turner.

Unlike many traditional books on this topic, it adopts a practical hands-on approach to quickly familiarize engineers and students new to this subject through the use of the latest RF simulation tools. This methodology parallels the tools and techniques used in the RF/MW industry to design systems and components to meet specs and yields. The authors made the judicious choice of Agilent Genesys as an easy-to-use, full featured RF simulation tool that is also the most affordable in the market. This ensures the skills learned from the book can be put into practice immediately without the barriers of acquiring costly and complex electronic design automation (EDA) tools.

Selected topics from this book will be presented along with the Genesys workspaces created in authoring the book.
Learn about the use of VB scripting and Matlab equations in Genesys for your RF designs.

When published, the book will include the complete collection of its Genesys workspaces for use as excellent learning companions or to start initial designs with.
