Addressing VHT 802.11ac WLAN MIMO Design and Test Challenges Demonstration on how to create and analyze a very high throughput 160 MHz 802.11ac WLAN two channel MIMO signal using integrated design and test equipment. SystemVue and 89600 VSA software are used early in the design phase for 802.11ac system design to evaluate design trade-offs. And, then for hardware testing they are combined with 81180A AWGs, MXG signal generators, and a high performance multichannel Infiniium oscilloscope or PXI vector signal analyzer to perform 802.11ac MIMO measurements on DUT hardware. MIMO OTA Two-Stage Method Using PXT and PXB This video is a demonstration of testing the MIMO OTA performance of an LTE device using the two-stage method with Agilent Technologies' N5106A PXB and E6621A PXT. This method is efficient and cost-effective and can be used for multiple stages of test including design verification testing of antennas or devices on a lab bench. 3GPP and CTIA are currently evaluating this method to be added to LTE conformance testing. LTE eNB MU-MIMO Receiver Baseband Testing This is a demonstration of an end-to-end test of the Xilinx LTE eNB MIMO baseband receiver that has been implemented on the ML605 Virtex 6 development board, using signals created in Agilent SystemVue and output through the Agilent N5106A PXB baseband generator and channel emulator, and the N5102A Digital Signal Interface Module (DSIM).
