Software Support Policy - Technical Overview

The goal of this Agilent Software Support Policy is to make it easy and simple for you to get high quality service and support for the following Agilent software products.

Support Policy for:

  • IO Libraries Suite
  • Command Expert
  • Fault Detective
  • License Manager (standalone application only)

Agilent will provide software support for the current major and minor releases and the previous major and minor releases of the software products explicitly listed in this document. Each of the products covered by this support policy have a specific list of supported Microsoft Operating Systems (OS), which is included in the System Requirements for each release. When an OS is obsoleted by Microsoft, that OS will immediately become unsupported by all of the releases listed below that originally supported that OS.

Support includes:

  • Answering customer questions (through email or phone calls)
  • Investigating and duplicating reported problems
  • Providing FAQs and other support information via the Agilent Web site, and offering patches (at Agilent's discretion) for the supported releases.
