Can I measure Power vs. Time of the 1xEV-DO forward link signals with idle slot and active slot mixed condition for the Agilent PSA Series Spectrum Analyzer and Agilent E4406A Series VSA 1xEV-DO personality?

Yes. PSA firmware A.09.18 and later and E4406A VSA firmware revision A.10.06 and later have measurement setup menu for such mixed and burst signals. When Idle Slot is selected in {Slot Type} under [Meas Setup] menu in Power vs. Time, active slots will be excluded from power calculations in averaging. Analyzer can detect and gather idle slots only for averaging.
