Test Instrument Emulator

Extend the lifetime of your legacy test systems with test instrument emulation

The lifetime cost of an automatic test system can increase significantly when its test instruments become obsolete. Obsolete test instruments may require the modification of system software, drivers and test programs, incurring potentially significant cost and time penalties. The WinTE-7000 test instrument emulator from WinSoft minimizes these costs by allowing the replacement of legacy test equipment with compatible new instruments, without software modifications.

The WinTE-7000 emulator operates with a wide range of Agilent Technologies instruments allowing customers to take advantage of the continuous improvements in the price/ performance of Agilent products. The emulator supports legacy programming languages such as ATLAS, HP-BASIC and FORTRAN and does not require an ATLAS translator, ATLAS migration, or TPS modification. The emulator supports standard communication protocols and widely used platforms such as rack & stack, PXI, LXI and synthetic instrument modules.

With the WinTE-7000 instrument emulator from WinSoft you can now incorporate the price/performance advantages of Agilent’s latest instrumentation in your legacy systems without the cost and time penalties of software modification, redesign and validation.
