WHAT IS THE WEBCAST ABOUT
With crowding of the spectrum, satellite is another technology that is looking to more efficiently use allocated bands as well as pushing carriers to higher frequencies. In this webcast we will focus on the challenges of high power measurements, high frequency, and wide bandwidth measurements as it applies to satellite communication. Focus will be given to new measurement techniques that enable cost efficient yet high fidelity measurements. Finally we will review some common issues in SATCOM and applicable solutions to these problems.

Ricky Overdorf, Aerospace Defense Applications Marketing and Planning Engineer
Mr. Overdorf is responsible for product planning of Aerospace and Defense applications for signal analyzers and signal generators. Within Agilent he has also served as a Business Development Engineer for electronic system level design solutions focusing on military communications and RADAR. He has also been an Application Engineer in Agilent’s electromagnetic interference test sector. Prior to joining Agilent, Richard worked in head-end cable where he was responsible for maintenance and operation of a satellite link for commercial television.
