Agilent Technologies invites you to join us for a complimentary workshop on RF System Design. The general concepts of system design will be presented together with progressive labs exercises to build an optimal system architecture for an example 802.11ac transceiver. The workshop objective is to keep you up to date with the latest technologies and solutions for RF System simulation.
Why this workshop is important
Designing a successful system architecture is reliant on a designer’s ability to obtain a clear understanding of what impairments are present in a design, and the extent to which each impairment affects the overall system performance. This workshop will provide hands-on experience using modern professional simulation tools (from Agilent EEsof EDA) to analyze a design, and make improvements base on critical trade-offs between cost and performance.
In this workshop you will learn system-level approaches to RF architecture for transmitters and receivers, discuss frequency planning, perform spur-analysis and link budgets. The final task will introduce baseband sources into the design, to test system metrics such as receiver sensitivity in the presence of an interferer.
