Abstract of presentation: Design and verification of MIMO systems is a challenge now shared by engineers working on LTE, IEEE802.11n and WiMAX™. While many measurements can be made using a single source and/or analyzer, some require from two to four signal generators and corresponding multi-input vector signal analysis with MIMO matrix decoding.
This webcast will discuss MIMO signal generation and measurement, including source/analyzer configurations, the choice of multi-channel receiver types, and the measurement results they produce. Test hardware and software will be covered, and some typical impairments will also be discussed in terms of both their generation and analysis.
