Innovations in EDA: A Model Based Approach for System Level RFIC Verification

Why this Webcast is important:
The use of complex modulated waveforms in modern radios creates several problems for RF verification engineers. As we discussed in our recent “Memory Effects in RF Circuits” Innovations in EDA webcast, traditional transient simulation techniques are too slow while harmonic-balance techniques do not allow simulation with complex modulation. This motivated the use of Envelope Transient and Fast Circuit Envelope simulation techniques, especially for full transmitter and receiver functional path verification. This webcast will introduce a unique system/circuit verification flow that leverages the nonlinear behavioral models with memory effects using GoldenGate’s Fast Circuit Envelope simulation solution for system level verification with SystemVue.
