Innovations in EDA: LTE-Advanced: Overcoming Design Challenges for 4G PHY Architectures
웹캐스트 - recorded | 시간 및 장소
Why this Webcast is important:
LTE-Advanced is a significant follow-on generation to the LTE standard. It achieves dramatic increases in the capacity and robustness of the physical layer of 4G mobility networks, while demanding new levels of baseband design complexity, analog performance, MIMO propagation, environmental interaction, and verification difficulty. Fortunately technology and design tools are also undergoing their own “long term evolution”, which in turn is driving changes to the Design landscape.
This webcast will briefly review changes in the physical layer specification from LTE to LTE-Advanced, and then summarize the design challenges created by these new demands. The webcast will also review the new technologies and approaches now available for system and component-level designers that help to achieve earlier design maturity for both baseband and RF. The result is greater design flow integration with less effort than was possible in previous generations. This result is achievable today, for immediate insights for both 4G architects and designers.
Who should view this Webcast:
As a result of this webcast, wireless system architects, algorithm developers, and both RF and Baseband component designers will be to anticipate issues and approaches for LTE-Advanced, as well as other emerging communications formats. System verifiers, researchers, consultants, and engineering management will also benefit from awareness of key 4G issues and solutions.
