Abstract of presentation:
Many LTE processes and procedures share much in common with the existing UMTS technology. However there are many significant implementation and detailed changes which result in both increased complexity and protocol/signalling test needs. This webcast will introduce the various LTE signalling/control processes and their detailed content. Procedures such as resource allocation (scheduling), power control, CQI, HARQ and other LTE protocol processes and functions will be examined in detail and compared to their UMTS equivalent processes. We will make sure we have plenty of time for questions.
