Wideband Digital Pre-Distortion Modeling for LTE-Advanced

1   小时 | 网上直播 -- 已存档的 | 地点和时间

WHAT IS THE WEBCAST ABOUT

LTE-Advanced signals present a true challenge to RF component designers due to bandwidths of up to 100MHz, high linearity, and dynamic radio configurations, including carrier aggregation. Digital pre-distortion (DPD) and Crest Factor Reduction (CFR) help 4G wireless designers meet these performance requirements and maximize DC-RF efficiency, but requires high-performance tools for modeling. In this paper, DPD performance is extracted at all stages of the design flow, including co-simulations with RF EDA environments (Agilent ADS or GoldenGate), X-parameter models, and live hardware measurements using either the high dynamic range PXA family (N9030A), or wide bandwidth PXI Modular family (M9392A) of signal analyzers.

This webcast discusses challenges with measurements, algorithms and HW realizations then gives practical suggestions for successful DPD modeling through the use of Agilent’s SystemVue platform.
