436A Power Meter: Choosing The Correct Fuse For Mains Operation
What fuses are recommended for mains operation of the 436A Power Meter? The line voltage must be taken into account when choosing which fuse to use. There are two different recommended fuse ratings for the 436A, and these are as follows: For 220/240Vac operation, the recommended fuse rating is 0.375A, 250V, TD (Time-Delayed, more commonly known as 'slow-blow'). As a guideline, where a 'TD' fuse is required, it may be denoted by a 'T' suffix on the fuse rating - for example, 0.375AT or 375mAT. The recommended fuse can be ordered from Agilent by quoting part number 2110-0421.
