The starting point for each scan list is indicated by a vertical bar on the graph and the label Started.

Yes. Click on InstrN in the Name column of the “Configure Instruments” tab and enter a new instrument name.

How do I branch from one scan to another?
The Stop the scan and start the scan on action on the “Configure Events” tab, allows you to branch to another scan list on the occurrence of the corresponding event.

What is an Action Script and what can I do with it?
An Action Script contains one or more action steps that perform actions on modules in 34970A/34980A instruments, and other instrumentation connected to the PC.
