Benefits of Agilent‘s manufacturing solutions

Optical transmitter eye diagram, optical power and the optical receiver sensitivity are key parameters to be measured and documented for all optical transceivers. Beside the technical requirements, the real challenge is to test cost-effectively in manufacturing.

Agilent provides a complete set of instruments to test optical transceivers, such as SFP or XFP modules in manufacturing: the manufacturing serial BERTs, the digital communication analyzers and the light-wave measurement system with a large selection of modules for monitoring, switching and attenuating the optical signals. Very attractive products are the multi-port power meters. All needed is to add a DUT-board, some cabling and a computer.
