Description

Create global positioning system (GPS) and GLONASS test signals

The N7609B Signal Studio for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) allows you to easily create reliable and repeatable multi-satellite test signals for the GPS and Russian GLONASS systems to perform receiver verification tests. The application can provide up to 15 visible satellites for each constellation, depending on the scenario and satellite visibility. Additional channels (up to 32 total) are available for adding multipath signals. The power level and visibility of individual satellites can be changed in real-time while the signal is active, and impairments such as multipath and pseudorange error can also be added in real-time. With the addition of the scenario generator options for GPS (Option RFP) or GLONASS (Option TFP), users can create and edit custom scenario files to simulate stationary or moving receivers (up to 24 hours duration), or use the continuous scenario generation mode for longer simulations.
