The E2969A is a protocol test card for PCIe, which performs tests in order to verify and ensure compliance with PCIe specifications as defined by the PCI SIG. The protocol test card is a collaborative development between Agilent and Intel and will coincide with the Intel product development solutions for PCIe . It is primarily for use by R&D engineers to validate the functional compliance of their PCIe based designs, including chips, add-in cards or systems. The card is simply plugged into the DUT and is ready for use as soon as the software has been installed. The connection to the Agilent E2960A Protocol Analyzer allows to root cause and trouble shoot, if any with the E2969A PTC performed compliance test fails.
