The Agilent 53148A is a full featured 26.5 GHz CW microwave counter, a true power meter, and a dc DVM all in one small, convenient package. It is the ideal tool for installation and maintenance of point-to-point microwave links as three of the most commonly made field measurements are combined into one instrument. In ATE systems, the three-in-one 53148A will also save valuable rack space.

Note: 5314xA microwave counters have the capability to make an accurate power measurement via 848xA thermocouple power sensors. Agilent announced the discontinuance of the 848x "A", "B" and "H" model power sensors that you may use with your counter. As of December 1, 2008, Tessco Technologies, an authorized distributor for Agilent, will continue to offer many of these sensors for purchase. Tessco Technologies contact information.

Please note that depending on your power measurement requirements, the following sensor models continue to be available from Agilent:

  • D Models: 8481D, 8485D, 8487D

The 5314xA microwave counters continue to be offered same as today.
