U3035P-022 Distribution Network, 2-Source, 250 MHz to Maximum Frequency of the PSG

• Input and output frequency range: 250 MHz up to 67 GHz
• Connections: 50 ohm, SMA-f, rear panel; each PSG operates independently with its own LO

The U3035P Option 022 distribution network enables two Agilent PSG signal generators to operate in a phase locked and coherent mode at a common frequency. It operates in two frequency bands: 250 MHz to 3.2 GHz, and > 3.2 GHz. The upper frequency limit is determined by the frequency range option selected on the PSG (20, 32, 40, 50 or 67 GHz for the E8257D, and 20, 32 or 44 GHz for the E8267D).

The distribution network takes an oscillator signal from one “master” signal source, amplifies it, and distributes it to multiple “slave” signal sources. The distribution amplifier has two modes of operation: Distribution Mode and Calibration Mode. The mode of operation is selected manually with a switch on the front panel or remotely over a 9 pin control interface.
