Multiport Test Sets
Whether you're measuring microwave differential and/or highly integrated multiport components, Agilent offers a variety of multiport test sets to suit your measurement needs. Multiport test sets dramatically reduce the test time of today's multi-signal path devices.
Most multiport applications require analysis and management of very large S-parameter files. For example, 12-port Touchstone files are typically 9 MB or bigger and contain 144 separate S-parameter elements. To save analysis time, most customers use the N1930B Physical Layer Test System (PLTS) software tool for this data mining task. Specifically, the N1930B-1FP PLTS Studio software module option can be used post-measurement outside the laboratory for time, frequency, RLCG and eye diagram analysis. The efficiency gained by using this tool usually pays for itself within the first one or two projects.
