E443xB ESG Signal Generator Option UN8 or UN8/UN9, Software Patch

This software patch is for E443xB ESG signal generator models E4430B, E4431B, E4432B, E4433B, E4434B, E4435B, E4436B, E4437B with Option UN8 or UN8/UN9.

SITUATION:

The Baseband Generator board with part number E4400-60070, serial number starting with 300, and version number A0110 contains wrong header information. This condition generates I/Q offset problems. To check if your E443xB ESG-D has the defect, access the installed board information on the display of the ESG. Using the front panel press Utility > Instrument Information > Installed Board Information.

SOLUTION:

To remedy the problem, download and run the self extracting executable Software Patch "BBG_rev.exe" available below.
