Dr. Joel,

Those were my thoughts exactly.

From the App note 1287-11 Appendix D page 40: These are ignored key words.

There is something that seems peculiar when I add a data based file. When I browse for the file in the editor, it appears to read it in. It lists the number of points and a few other things. I click the "OK" tab, and the standard is created. If I ever go back, select the standard and click edit, the file path is no longer visible, and I need to browse for the file again.

The R60.dat file that was posted on this message thread does appear to me to read-in as databased standard data just fine as-is. The "Ignored Keywords" that Kevin found the page of and posted are indeed not required.

Regarding the file path to the CITIfile not being shown after the databased standard dialog has been dismissed and re-launched, that is because when the dialog is dismissed, the data is then all stored in binary form (i.e. if you then save the kit as a '.ckt' file it then has all the data). The PNA only ever references the data files just the one time when you Browse to them to populate their data into the kit. After that, you really only need those dat files for your personal archival purposes or in case you ever load a different data set into one of the standards and then want to re-load the original.
