Hi All,

I'm using DCOM with a N5230C, firmware version A.09.33.09, the Trace.Name property of the Trace Class, returns the wrong information in the name. For example, in the attached screen shot, trace #3 is set to measure S22, however, the trace.name property returns "CH1_S12_3". As you can see, S12, is wrong. It doesn't affect the measurement, but the information is misleading. Can it be fixed? Is this the right place for this request? If not, where can I report bugs?

Thanks, Andy.

The trace name is completely arbitrary and is defined at the time the measurement is created. It usually follows the format for the measurement that was initially created. So, if on channel 1, you place and S12 measurement as the third measurement the default trace name is "CH1_S12_3". If you then change the measurement, the measurement will change but the name will remain the same. You can use either the Measurement.Name or Measurement.Trace.Name property to either set or read back the measurement name for the selected trace.
