Hi All,

I'm trying to get a VBA application to run on a second 5071C. The VBA application is already running on another 5071C, but I cannot get it up and running on the second machine.

I'm receiving a "Microsoft Forms - Could not load an object because it is not available on this machine" error.

I've searched for possible solutions to this error, and have tried the ones most often listed (relating to mscomctl.ocx and *.exd files) without success.

The problem is compounded by the fact that the former employee who wrote this application password protected it, and did not share it with anyone prior to his departure.

Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated..... the application that does run is naturally on a machine that being redeployed for another job and will not be available within another week or two.

Thanks!

What errors are you seeing when you try to run the program? Please be as specific as possible.

Hi, and thanks for the reply.

We were able to reload all of the required files from another source and the problem is now solved. Apparently one of the files we were given by IT was corrupt.

Thanks again for the reply.
