Hey all,

I am having trouble identifying an SCPI command that will allow me to save a screenshot of my analyzer screen to a file in a designated directory on my PC. I am using a N9010A Signal Analyzer with Command Expert and I simply need to save a screenshot to a folder as a .PNG file type.

Thanks in advance!

Hi -

We have an example of how to do this using VEE.

If you have VEE refer to http://www.home.agilent.com/sec/editorial.jspx?cc=US&lc=eng&ckey=827222&nid=-33932.710346.02&id=827222.

If you do not have VEE, I will summarize the commands:

:MMEM:STORE:SCR \’D:\\exa_screen.png\’;*WAI ! Stores a copy of the screen on the D: drive of the EXA.
:MMEM:DATA? \’D:\\exa_screen.png\’ ! Reads the file data via GPIB, LAN, or USB. This is a binary block data format.
:MMEM:DEL \’D:\\exa_screen.png\’ ! Deletes the file on the EXA’s D: drive
*CLS ! Clear any status bytes

The data that is received using the :MMEM:DATA query should be saved as a binary file with the extension of .PNG.

I hope this was helpful -

Hi Tabbot-

Yes that worked perfectly! I am not sure if you can, but I also need guidance in using the "Auto Tune" softkey on my analyzer so that once I recall a state from the generator it is visible within the parameters of the display screen. If you could direct me to any resource or provide me with any help that would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Glad this is working out -

The SCPI command to perform an Auto Tune is “:SENSe:FREQuency:TUNE:IMMediate".

In general, if you want to learn the SCPI command for an equivalent front-panel function, press Help and then the appropriate hard key or softkey.
