16911A with self test failure on inter-chip bus

I have a 16911A card (4 MB, 500 MHz if it matters) which is failing self test on:

"Inter-Chip Resource Bus Test (failed in slot A)"

All other self tests pass. What does this failure mean?

Anything remotely "simple" to check? Spending over $1K to fix it is a non starter given what you can get the cards for used.

Is there any way to transfer the 4 MB upgrade to another card? It would be just my luck that the 4 MB / 500 MHz card fails and the 256 K / 250 MHz card is just fine. Sad.

Anybody got one or more 16910/911 cards for sale?

Hi, sorry for delayed response, - just found your message suddenly.

I had similar problem with two of my 16911A boards before and
did repair myself. It took me several days of work with microscope
and IR-soldering station.
Probably I could advice you something to check, if any of the
issues you mentioned earlier are still open.
I also have some spare 16911A's..
