difficulty to change stability in agilent counter 35132

HI all
please how i can change the stability in my counter 35132 A from 001 MS oven to 012 US oven ,manually and automatic(wish commands i can use);

Hi walid,

as far as I know these are options which you must buy from agilent.
These options replace the internal reference oscillator, so you may have only one option installed either option 001 or 010 or 012.

SENS:ROSC:SOUR knows only INT or EXT

I dont no exactly what you mean...
But I think NO because these options are hardware parts.

If these hardware parts are missing on your counter, then you can not activate them by software.

Only one timebase option can be installed the 53131A (Option 001, Option 010, or Option 012).

The Option 012 timebase for the 53131A counter is customer installable. In order for the instrument to be retrofitted with Option 012 the instrument must have firmware revision 3402 or greater. To determine the firmware revision turn the instrument off, press and hold the RECALL key, and press the POWER button to turn the instrument on. The revision number will appear in the display.

The parts required for the retrofit include:

quantity 1 A6 Timebase Support Board 53132-60016
quantity 1 Oven Oscillator 10811-60260
quantity 3 TORX 10 Screws (H2) 0515-0430
quantity 2 Pozidriv Screws (H7) 2360-0331

These parts are available from Agilent and are purchased individually. Installation instructions can be found beginning on page 4-11 of the Assembly-Level Service Guide found online at http://cp.literature.agilent.com/litweb/pdf/53131-90039.pdf.
