I'm attempting to get an old piece of lab equipment back into use, the HP66000A Mainframe connected through an 82357A GPIB to usb converter. Right now I can configure one of the 66103A cards by issuing commands through Agilent Interactive IO and see voltage levels set as well as get responses to my *IDN? command:
-> *IDN?
<- HEWLETT-PACKARD,66103A,0,A.00.07
In VEE Pro I absolutely cannot get this device to work properly in instrument manager. It will not auto detect and if I add it manually I cannot load an example based on the *IDN? command; in fact, using the IO monitor I can't even see VEE Pro issuing the *IDN? command. I'd appreciate any help I can get on this!
Visa Assistant will not find my 66103A either.
