newbie question about layout ground pour

On The parts that have nodes connected to ground & that have node number 0 on the schematic : The ground pour does not connect automatically those nodes even though ground plane button was selected?

the work around appears to be to edit the shape of the ground pour around the component to ground it.

Did i miss something? Some other layout tools will recognize that the part is grounded and the pour will connect it to the ground. This might be an improvement to add to the layout tool?

The problem in this case is that the ground pad is on the Bottom layer and your ground pour is on the Top layer. If you connect the piece of trace from your C1 capacitor to the ground such that the connection wire goes away, indicating a physical connection the ground pour will work as you expect it to. See the new workspace attached.
