8720D Repair

Hi
I'm trying to repair 8720D network analyzer. There is no internal or external monitor picture. Red led light on CPU board always on, the light is DS403. The manual say that in this case replace A7 CPU board assembly. I would be happy to do so, but nothing is available on eBay, Agilent parts, etc. Just trying to understand this error, may be fixing the board. No documentation available anywhere.
Please, help to find definition of this red LED error, or may be someone has this board laying around.

Is anybody have documentation on A7 CPU board? The part numbers are : 08753-63272 or 08720-69253.
Dr_Joel may be you have some diagnostic documentation on it, you are one of the developers for this product, please.

The only thing I know about the CPU board on the 8720D is there is a slow one and a fast one, and the fast one is better.

Thank you Dr_Joel, I have a fast one, but currently would prefer any and working. Any hints where I can find diagnostic documents on this board, it's the same board as in 8753ES

I wonder if this link for the service manual for 8720ES would serve your purpose:

The 8720ES uses the same 08753-63272 CPU board of 8720D.

Frank,

The 872xD models with the option 000 has the same cpu as the ES models!

The standard CPU has EPROMS for F/W. ES has EEPROMS and is loaded by the front panel FDD.

Thank you everybody for taking time to reply, but no help yet. All documentation available on internet doesn't provide detailed troubleshooting of A7 CPU board on any of analogs like 8753ES, 8753D, 8753E, 8720ES. May be I could be directed by someone to where I can buy the whole board?
